Just started watching season 7 of Black Mirror. Watched Eulogy and it was nice and slow. Nothing revolutionary. I should’ve watched it chronologically with Common People though.

Common People is easily the most depressing Black Mirror episode I’ve watched. I know that White Bear or even White Christmas has quite a depressing ending but that’s just the ending. The outcome is depressing but Common People is such a slow burn in terms of the depression scale. And especially with the subscription tiers that we’re having (I’m looking at you Netflix and every other subscription services out there that follow suit), it hits home harder than most Black Mirror episodes in the past, at least to me.

Kudos, it’s one of the best episodes yet and I’ve got 4 left to watch!
