I finished The Pitt and I’m in love with it. I agree with the claim that it is the most accurate medical show on TV. Due to my Grey’s Anatomy bias, I often found myself predicting how certain plots would be resolved according to GA’s formula, but I was proven wrong again and again. I can’t wait for season 2!

Now, I have just watched the first episode of The Bear, and I struggle to understand why it’s one of the most critically acclaimed shows on television. To be honest, that first episode felt like a whole lot of nothing. I have to say, watching just one episode was not enough to convince me to continue with the series. For instance, when I first watched Severance and Succession, I was also somewhat confused, but they presented questions that I wanted answered, so I kept watching. The Bear, however, didn’t give me any reason to continue. I’m also not interested in the show due to the unnecessary amount of yelling and cussing.

Maybe when I revisit this show in the future, I’ll have more appreciation for it.
