It’s quite surprising to see people still talk about this news. And oddly enough, the non-Muslims are the most vocal about it so far. I have yet to hear my Muslim friends complain about it since we all know that it’s already an obligation with or without this penalty in place. Also, I don’t know anyone who has skipped it without any valid reasons anyway.
